MISSION STATEMENT

Our goal is to create a place where children of ALL abilities can play and learn from each other. The playground will be somewhere children that are in wheelchairs, walkers, braces, blind, deaf or healthy, able-bodied children can all play alongside each other.

We hope to create a place where children can go and even if it for just the time they are there, a child's disability won't keep them from playing outside with their friends. There will be no barriers at this playground.  Imagine a place where children with disabilities and regular, able-bodied kids can play, learn and laugh together. Imagine a place where our schools can have a school picnic and ALL the children can play together!

We dream of creating an opportunity for every child to be able to play with their peers, to have a childhood filled with fond memories of playing at a park, being silly with friends...being able to just be a kid!
